Holiday House is a project of the Readiness To Learn Foundation, in partnership with Toys for Tots along with other community organizations. Oak Harbor Public Schools partner with Holiday House, in which adult family members with children who live in Oak Harbor, Coupeville, and South Whidbey School Districts, select new and unwrapped holiday gifts for their children in a store-like environment. Families who apply are given an appointment so they can come into the shop, with no money involved. When they arrive, they will be greeted with warm beverages, and treats, and meet their personal shopper. Families shop for their children's gifts and wrap them so that they are all ready for the Holiday Season!

HOW TO DONATE:

Donate unwrapped gifts at Broad View Elementary. There is a collection box outside the School Counselor’s office at the front entrance of the school. Please see below for a list of gift ideas.

Holiday House is also accepting donated Amazon and Walmart gift cards. The gift cards will be used to purchase more gifts for our families.

Christmas Food Baskets

Thanks to the continued generosity of the North Whidbey Help House, Oak Harbor
School District families can enjoy a Christmas food basket this holiday season!

North Whidbey Help House is a local food bank that has been providing food to those in need on Northern Whidbey Island for 45 years! Broad View Elementary families can enjoy the holiday festivities this year by simply following the following steps:

❖ Complete the Christmas Food Basket application form. You can also collect a form from our front office or from our school counselor, Pat Tang.
❖ Once you have completed the form, please submit them to the Help House at: 1091 S.E Hathaway St. Oak Harbor by the following date:
     ➢ Christmas: November 27th - December 8th
❖ The Help House is open at the following times to drop the form(s) off:
     ➢ Mon, Weds, Thurs, Fri: 9 AM - 4 PM
     ➢ Tues: 9 AM - 5 PM
